What Should We Play?

My son has just turned 17 months old. I sometimes feel like he gets bored when he plays. Well he isn't really bored, but I am just wanting some new ideas for activities. He loves animals, balls, blocks, books, crayons, cars, pots and pans, all the regular kid stuff. These can be things for us to do together or just for him. Need Ideas for Party Favors

My son is turning 3 in a few weeks (!!!) and we're having his birthday party at the swimming pool with all his little friends. We want to have little gifts for his friends but I don't want to do goody bags like we've done in the past, it seems like no one really plays with the stuff we put in there. I'd love to come up with some cute idea for favors that is simple and doesn't cost too much. His party is monster themed. I was originally thinking squirt guns and water toys but the pool doesn't allow those. Any of you creative mamas out...

Good Places for Camping in Minnesota

We just moved to Minnesota from Colorado. My family loves camping and spending the weekends in the mountains surrounded by nature and not much else. I was hoping I could get some good recommendations for places to camp that is within 3 or so hours from the Minneapolis area. We would prefer a more wooded area and not wide open where you can see everyone in the campsite. Also, we don't have any water toys (boats, etc.) so a large lake isn't necessary. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

Playgroup Organizer Needs Help! : )

Hey ladies - I am the organizer of a playgroup in the Murfreesboro area. The age range in our children is 12 months - 4 years old. The majority of the children are 2-3. We have been meeting together for almost 2 years now and it seems that we just keep doing the same things over and over. I am looking for some brand new ideas of what we can do in and around Murfreesboro. Flood me with your ideas both big and small! Thanks in advance.
