Baby Monitor - Take It or Leave It?

I feel a little guilty saying this, but I'm sick of the baby monitor! I am a light sleeper, and every little noise or sigh that my daughter makes wakes me up and I have a difficult time falling back to sleep. I feel like I could probably hear her if she really cried and needed me, but what if I didn't? What are your thoughts? (She is 8 months old...I also have a 3 year old, but I figure he can come get me if he needs me)

What Is Considered "Healthy Eating" While Breastfeeding?

I had my daughter in Mar and I am now back to work. I am in the military so of course, they are going to start looking for me to lose weight. I gained 75lbs during my pregnancy. I will admit, I wasn't looking pregnant so I decided to over eat so that weight will pick up on my belly to look pregnant. Of course it went mostly to my hips and thighs ;o(!!! Constipation in a 3 Year Old

My daughter is 3 and is suddenly constipated. She has been an awesome eater until turning 3 and now she eats a very limited variety of foods. We are in the midst of potty training which I read can be an issue with withholding her poop, but she willingly uses her potty to move her bowels and it is the peeing that is the issue. Her diet was high in dairy since she would not eat any meat. She ate a lot of cheeses and yogurts for a protein source. These foods never constipated her before. She WILL NOT drink water and tells me she doesn't...

Would like Recommendation on Thermometer...

I am sure this has been posted on here before, but I would like some recommendations for a good thermometer. I am looking for one that can take a rectal temperature in a timely manner that gives accurate readings....any suggestions?
