What Products to Use for an Infant Who Has a Rash

Hi I was wondering what products many of you recommend for an infant (2 month old) who has a very bad sandpaper like rash all over her body. Her back is actually peeling today since her skin has been so dry. I did take her to her Pediatrician who ruled out any illness. He stated it may be sensitive skin or she may be having a reaction to a food that I am eating as she also has very bad reflux along with it. I use dreft detergent on all clothes/linens that come into contact with her. I use Eucerin on her skin which does seem to help a...

7 Month Old and Bowel Movements

I was just wondering if anyone has had this problem. My 7 month old son has a bowel movement usually every other day, but they are EXPLOSIVE! Today he had two really messy explosions that required baths to clean him up. I'm growing tired of always having to wash poop out of his clothes, changing table covers, and not to mention him and myself. He recently has started eating some solids (not very much). We took him off the solids for a while to see if that would help, but it is the same. He is also solely breastfed. I don't know how much...

Constipation with My 18 Month Old

My 18 month old has had problems with constipation her entire life of 18 months :) We have tried everything and nothing is working. We have done apple juice, pear juice, straight prune juice, glycerin supp., baby enimas, and now we are on myralax everyday. The laxative seemed to have worked for awhile and we even ended up in Children's Hospital because we didn't go poop for a week. My ped. just says this is ok and will be fine for her to take the lax. for the rest of her life if needed...but momma thinks different. I don't think she should...

Good Diapers to Hold in Diarrhea

Hi, I have a strange question. I want to ask advice on which brand of diapers is best to hold in messy diarrhea. My son (3yrs) most likely caught something from school and have diarrhea, not often, but unfortunately in the middle of the night during sleep. It is now 2am and this is my 3rd night bathing him and washing sheets, etc. I need a really good diaper that will at least hold the mess in so that it won't leak everywhere. It may not be a 100% proof but does anyone have any experience w/a fabulous diaper? Any other tips on what can help...

Huggies Vs. Huggies Supreme

I am having a diaper dilemma! My son is over 2 now, and he's been wearing the regular Huggies diapers since he was a baby. I have always liked them, but lately the size 6 diapers have been getting too tight on him. I don't think they make a size bigger than 6, do they? Anyways, so I decided to try the Huggies Supreme to see if they would be roomier for him. He has been wearing the Supremes for about 5 days now, and I've noticed a couple of problems. First, when he sweats a lot his inner thighs are turning green (the same color as the...
