What to Give Grandparents

We have a paint your own pottery place in Coppell, Art from the Heart. She could make a cookie plate for grandma and grandpa with her little hand prints on it... Always a cherished gift and something she can use for Santa Cookies when she is there at Christmas. Or she could make each one of them a coffee mug.

Do you have any pictures of her with her GP's? If so, either do a scrapbook page she can frame (or frame it yourself, at Michael's for $7.99 and use the 40% off coupon and it is still cheaper) or just a really nice picture of your daughter that captures her personality to give to them in a cute frame. Hobbly Lobby usually has all of their picture frames on sale for 50% and go that route as well. This is a cheap gift, but so memorable too!

I have a ton of digital photos of my son, so i went to Costco.com and in their photo section you can personlize calenders! So I made Grandma and both sets of great grandparents a calender with the all the grandkids pictures and birthdays included so they don't forget!! They are super cute the only thing is I didn't make one for myself! they where only $9.99 plus shipping $5 or $6 bucks! i'm very pleased. best of luck

One year we gave a Grandparents bag. It was a big tote bag with slots to put photos so they were displayed on the outside of the bag. Hard to explain but very cute. You can change out pictures when ever you want. I got ours at Family Christian store in Frisco but Joanne's Fabric may have something similar. Also the drug store makes photo mugs Grandpa's love. And calenders with your own pics.

Get a talking picture frame and have her say I love you grandma or something like that. Also if you have a digital camera, I just saw one at CVS ($80, I think) where you just plug the memory card right in to the frame and it does a little slide show. Great gift for Grandparent that is usually far away.

We made tote bags and aprons for the grandparents in our family this year- You dip their hand in fabric paint then make hand prints on whatever you are making(Black worked better than white canvas-and all stuff was available at Walmart and Hobby Lobby), we used fabric markers to make a cute saying like "Our Grandma is Handy in the kitchen" and "Nana's brag Bag" I saw another cute thing at a ladies house here recently. The had made a landscaping stone with their kids handprints(in different colors) inside the stone-was really cute-she said they got the kit at lowes or Home Depot I believe. Hope this helps!

You can download Microsoft Movie Maker for free and compile a whole bunch of pictures, burn it to a DVD and it makes a great gift. We are doing that for my daughters great grandfather and I know he will love it. I downloaded some songs from Napster to play with the movie as well. It is free and very easy.
