Sleep Sacks

I love my Halo sleep sacks and my daughter won't go to sleep at night without one on. The problem is I don't love the price at $19.99 each from Babies R Us. Does anyone know of where I can get them cheaper or even another brand. I'm hoping it is somewhere I can go pick them up. Unless they are a great price online, after paying shipping I'm not saving any money. I want the cotton ones. The fleece are just too hot for this time of year.

What can I do next?

I don't know if you sew, but if you know someone who does, they could use one that you have now as a template for a pattern and probably make you bunches at a reasonable price. I wish I could sew (sigh!). :(

I agree! Those things are too expensive. Anyway, I begged my mom to make some for me. If you can sew or know anyone, that is the cheapest route.

You could try some of the children's consignment stores-- but I would definitly call and ask them prior to driving to all of them!

Not sure what size (the savings are different for different sizes) but you can try here:

Right now they have $1.99 shipping on orders over $25 and there is no tax. Your savings won't be great but it's less than BRU.

Also, the clearance section on Halo's website can sometimes have big savings but it can be hit or miss.

I've started making sleeping sacks for toddlers and I must say that $20 is a good price. To make my own using a quilted batting, solid fabric lining with a decorative or quilted panel including an attached pillow will cost me $20 or more in materials. I made my daughter one after her preschool required it but was selling the sleeping sacks for $45!
