We are due in November with our third girl! We are having a hard time coming up with a name for her. Our other girls are Faith Elizabeth and Olivia Grace. We are thinking about Joy or Hope as the middle name, so it goes with the other two. Please help us come up with a first name. We like common classic names so please nothing off the wall.

What can I do next?

Sounds as though you have some spiritual seeking going on. My suggestion would be to name her along the lines of the other 2. How about Ave Maria ??? Good hunting ! :-D

OMG!!! That is so funny! When I was preggo with my son, before we found out he was a boy we wre going to name him Faith Olivia. Idk if it really goes together but Emma is a good clasic name. Emma Joy sounds kinda of country, like billy bob, but its cute! Lol! I also like Victoria Joy. Its been a while as my youngest is 8.
i also like Madeline Joy. I love the name Hope but have a hard time thinking of a first name to go with it.
Good Luck!!

The names for your girls are beautiful. We were having a hard time coming up with a 3rd name too, luckily we ended up having a boy. I think you and I have similar name preferences. You already have a lot of great ideas, but I wanted to throw another one out there: Lauren or Rachel.

Hi, S.! Congratulations on your growing family! We had a baby girl, and had two names in mind: Juliana Grace and Kaelyn Elizabeth. We chose Kaelyn, and everyone comments on what a pretty name she has. I wish you the best of luck with your delivery and picking out a name for your precious gift!

First off, Congratulations!

I work at a school, where I hear a lot of beautiful names. I couldn't help but think of Nevaeh, which may seem "out there" but it is heaven spelled backwards and I think it would go with Hope or Joy.

Also, here's some others: Samantha, Savanna, Whitney, Jennifer, Eileen. I really think Jennifer Joy would be beautiful and could be shortened to "Jenny Joy".

I do hope and pray that she is healthy and all goes well!

Well, I'll be biased and give you my little girl's name, which is Celeste. It means "heavenly; of the stars; and, divine." It seems to fit well with your other choices, isn't faddish, no other children have it, and is lovely for both girls and women as well. That's my vote. Please announce your new girl's name when she arrives.....best of luck!

Your daughters names are beautiful!
We had a hard time picking our daughters name and came down to Kirstein. Then, a month before she arrived, my husband asked what I thought of the name Melody (he worked with a Melody)...it was pretty but we alredy had our name picked out. So, while delivering, I had a horrible nurse (she was mean, rude and hurt SO bad with the exam) Anyway, she was helping deliver another baby so they sent in a new nurse to attend to me. She was SOOOOO nice and gentle and we noticed her name tag said Melody. Then, she told us how she was a very tiny preemy and every day her father would come into the NIC Unit and sing to her...so they named her Melody. My husband and I were sure that it was a sign and we decided to name our daughter Melody and also use the nurses middle name Melody Joy.
So, I have to say I like the middle name Joy. :)

Hi! Your girls names are beautiful. Congratulations! I too like classic names. There are so many beautiful combinations out there. I named my girl Lily Charlotte. You can always get a name book from the library for suggestions. I am curious to see what you come up with.

Hi S.! Our youngest daughter's name is Alyssa Faith. We were talking about the middle names Joy and Hope with Alyssa, too. I realize that Alyssa is pretty trendy but I think it is just beautiful and it would go with your other girls' names.
I think the middle names Hope or Joy would also go great with any of the following as the first name:

Amanda
Ava
Charlotte
Christina
Emily
Kayla
Leah
Violet

Good luck! :)

When I read your other two daughters names I immediately thought they sounded old fashioned or classic. Some names that we had choosen for our daughter were what I thought of as classic: Ruby, Cecelia Rose, Audrey ,and Jocelyn Joy "J J." We also had, although not classic, Kylan, Jade, and McCrae (McCray, an Irish/Sweedish name I believe.) I have heard of a few as of late that will be on our next list, yet, off the wall: Wren, Asland (the lion from The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe,) and Story. A few popular names that are popping up, that I considered are: Arizona, Alabama Rose, London (if you like places,) Addison "Addi" (thanks to Grey's Anatomy,) and Anniston "Anni." Our daughters name is Emerson Kate.
Good Luck

Hi S.,
I was going to suggest S. until I saw that it is your name! How about Margaret Joy or Margaret Hope? You can do a lot with the name Margaret: Maggie, Meg, and Margie, to name a few! Just a thought. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy, and all the best to you and your family when the new little one arrives in November! (p.s. I just saw that someone suggested Lillian -- Lily Hope -- I really like that, too!)

Well, I see you have received tons of ideas. I immediately thought of Annabelle, but I know that is a little more common nowadays. I work with a woman named Anastasia who goes by Ana. She always receives lots of compliments when people find out her full name. It seems classic to me.
I wish you luck... We just had our second son this weekend and it took us until two weeks ago to narrow down his name!! But, it fits him perfectly now! :)

How about Victoria, Samantha, Christiane, Caroline or Rebecca? just some of the ones I considered when I got pregnant, but I will be having another boy ;-)
Good luck in your search, we´ve also had a really hard time deciding in a name for our boy, since we feel we kind of got the perfect one for our 1st boy and nothing seems to equal it.

We named our daughter Sadie, it's actually the old fashioned nickname for S. so kind of a neat way to name her after you and still have it be different.

My husband and I both had Sadie's in the family and liked how it was classic but different.
