I don't know if this works peronally, however I seen on design show on HGTV that you can use toothpaste on a sponge to remove the crayon from the wall.
Hi there,
Does anyone know how to get crayon marks off the wall? I have used rubbing alcohol but it won’t come off.
Any suggestions will be much appreciated!
Thanks,
F.
Thanks so much everyone. Wow, what an incredible thing the magic eraser is. I have never used it before but seen it advertised. The crayon came right off!

Try a Mr. Clean magic eraser. I would test it first in a hidden place to see how it does with the paint on the walls.
Well I see several others already recommended Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, which is what I was going to suggest too. I have also had great luck getting stains and things off the walls with Soft Scrub. Someone else mentioned to me just this morning that a regular pencil eraser would remove crayon too- I haven't tried it myself though. Good luck :)
Mr. Clean Magic Eraser as reccommended by so many.
In the future, give your budding artist erasable crayons and they'll come off easier. ;)
Good luck!
Hi F., I have found two things that work WONDERFUL for many things!! One is something called "Opps". It's in a white can type container with red and blue letters on it. It takes all kinda of things out!! Pretty cheap too from what I can remember like 4 or 5 bucks for a can) and the other is something called "grease lightening". I THINK that helps with crayons but i'm not completly sure. But it works for a TON of stuff!! So much that i gave one of my doctors that i work for a bottle one time (he's a total clean FREAK) and he bought a CASE of it for home and the office!! Between that with those Magic Erasers from Mr. Clean, they are all totally great!!! Hope it helps!!!
I have to smile when I read all the advocates of the Magic Eraser. The easiest, safest way to remove little Picasso's art work from any surface is by wadding up a slice of bread and rubbing on the surface covered in crayon. You won't believe it, but it works. My, (now 12 year old) found my textured table to be her favorite place to leave her mark. I went through plenty of bread, and my dog followed me by eating up all the crumbs....it was a win win for all.
Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. They work WONDERS on everything...my son colored on my wall a couple months ago, and the Magic Eraser took it right off.
Mr. Clean's Magic Eraser! It's a godsend!
Try Mr Clean Magic Eraser.
Mr. Clean's magic eraser. It has taken permanent marker off the wall for us too.
have you tried magic eraser?
I would also try Mr. Clean's Magic Eraser, but I've also been slowly repainting my house with enamel paint. (My favorite it Behr's eggshell enamel at Home Depot.) It's much easier to clean up than flat latex, and with a two year old and a dog that's very important to me! :)
I used to get it off of walls with an air freshener that had orange extract in it. The stronger the orange in the air freshener the better. I wish I could think of the name of it, but maybe even just rubbing the rind of an orange on the wall might work.
I recommend Mr. Clean's magic eraser. It got hair dye off the wall once, so I'm sure it can help with crayon.
I believe they are the Mr. Clean brand magic eraserers... Just make sure to follow the instructions on the package.
The Magic Eraser works Great, just do not use Goof Off because it will take the paint off of your walls! Good Luck we are in the process of practically repainting the entire inside of our house because my 3 yr old daughter got ahold of a sharpie and drew on just about every wall in our house. Plus she used crayons and other markers. She's quite the artist!!!!!!!!! Oh Well I didn't like the colors I chose the first time around anway, it gave me a reason to change colors.
Good Luck----J. C
Use a magic eraser and it should come right off. They also make a product called Goo Gone. It takes off crayon and even took Black Sharpie off of my walls a few months ago.Good luck to you.
One idea for your little one would be to cover one wall with butcher paper and let her go at it. She should be old enough to know that only that wall is for her to color on. Good luck!

Try a Mr Clean Magic Eraser. I have used it for crayons and it worked for me. Good Luck!
try magic eraser. it is in the cleaning supply section.
Try a Mr. Clean Magic eraser. It worked for our little "Picasso's" masterpiece! But be sure to keep it out of reach of your little ones.
Been there! I used magic eraser. But you have to get the name brand. I once got the K-Mart off brand and it shredded in my hand. Magic Eraser got it off perfectly, even Sharpie marker.
Mr.clean magic eraser works really good. I also saw on HGTV the other day to use a wet cloth and toothpaste. I have not tried this yet but it looked like it worked for them. and that way you can use something you already have instead of going to buy a magic eraser.
good luck!
Magic Eraser works great and won't scuff your walls. They are inexpensive also. They are in the cleaning section at wal-mart or any store like that.
SHAKLEE BASIC-H should do it. If in the K.C. Area, call ###-###-#### and we will talk. Liz Sutton
Mr.Clean Magic Eraser works GREAT!!!
magic erasure has been a blessing in our house
Mr. Clean Magic eraser works beautifully! Just start gently on tiny spot to make sure your paint isn't affected.

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser will remove it. Target sells their brand and it is just as good and less expensive. They are great for getting scuffs off of shoes as well.
try the mr. clean magic erasers it will get it off. but dont scrub too hard it might take some paint off too.
Mr. Clean magic Eraser got green crayon off my wall. It works awesome!!!
This was just on HGTV this weekend...she used toothpaste and it came right out.
Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. You will find them in the cleaning supply aisle. They are amazing!
I run a daycare out of my home and I love the Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. My son (of course) has written on just about every surface of the house and it takes anything off of any surface. Good luck:)
Mr. clean Magic erasers work great...I ALWAYS keep these on hand!
Baby oil works very well, and it doesn't take the paint off.
Hi F.,
Mr Clean is the best thing I have used on the many crayon stains over the years, just don't scrub too hard, it can take paint with it.

*another vote for magic eraser - it truly is magic!!
Mr. Clean Magic erasers are a wonderful thing. They take anything of walls. You can get them anywhere, target, walmart etc... Hope this helps!
The MAGIC ERASER gets pretty much everything off anything!!!
Good morning,
The best thing to remove crayon is WD-40.
Spray some onto a paper towel enough to dampen it.
Lightly, very, lightly remove the crayon mark a little at a time, constantly changing the to a clean part of the towel.
Be careful to not smear it around or press it deep into the wall covering. Use dry towel to wipe WD-40 of the wall when you are done.

Have you tried goo gone they sell it at home depot an also hardware stores. I am not sure if walmart sells it or not. You can buy it as a spray from home depot, but don't think it matters which type you use.
Mr. Clean eraser sponges. Amazing
Mr Clean Magic Stain Eraser!! I have used it to remove crayon and pencil from our walls and floor and doors. Don't know what I would do without it!
I heard that WD40 sometimes will do it if it doesn't hurt your paint.
I had a problem almost like that except it was permanent marker, and this might sound crazy, but my husband recommended it and it worked for me. It was Brake cleaner,(for cars)make sure you spray it on a wet rag first and then really fast wipe it off the wall. You will be amazed!!!
Magic Eraser works the best, but it will take off a little paint if you rub too hard!
Try a Magic Eraser - they are truly "magic."
I have heard that the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser works well. Good luck! K.
The only thing that I can say is Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.
I know this will sound crazy, but I used the make-up remover from Mary Kay and it took the crayon off of my painted walls it took a little bit, but it worked. It is great for mascara on the eyes too.
