I don't know where you are but there is one in Westville on 421 called Coulter's and one in LaPorte at Garwood's Apple Orchard. Love the carmel apples at the apple orchard!

Third! to County line! Also, this yr. we went to county line for apples, but tried a place in beecher illinois for pumpkins and other activities. It is called Settler's Pond. They are an exotic animal rescue and farm. You pay $6 for adults and $4 for children. You get to feed a zebra, emus, donkeys, goats, a kangaroo, and so much more. It was totally worth the money to be that up close and personal with such cool animals. Plus my girlfriend took her kids yesterday to county line and she said the pumpkin patch this year was not very good, but it has been a real rainy season. Have fun where ever you go!

There is a great pumpkin patch in the south Crown Point area. It is called Kregel's pumpkin patch. The number is ###-###-####. The address is 13407 Grant St. It is a very fun place to go and spend an hour or two with kids of all ages. Our family has been going there for the past 9 years. They have the hay ride out to the pumpkin patch where you are able to pick your own pumpkins. The prices are very reasonable also. Pumpkins range from $2 to about $7(for the really large ones). They also have an animal area where you can feed goats, etc. They have a cool pumpkin launch where you can win a large pumpkin (the husbands love that part). They also have a little store where they sell pie pumpkins, apples, kettle corn, and different varieties of homemade butter. Good luck and have a safe and happy Halloween!

I agree with County Line - lots of fun! But, if you're looking for something a little less commercial and "homey," try Kreigel's. It's on Indiana ave (9 mile road) just outside of Crown Point. Lots of fun things to do - pony rides, animals, pumpkin slingshot, hayrides, etc. It's also a little less crowded than County line usually is, and super cheap.

County Line Orchard in Hobart is really fun. We were there to pick apples a few weeks ago, but according to their site, they have a pumpkin farm too.

Countyline Orchard in Hobart is AWESOME! There is SO much for the little kids to do. There is a trainride, petting zoo, a little barn for them to play in...there's a lot of stuff. We go every year and our kids LOVE it (they are 3 & 2)!

I second county line orchard...it is wonderful...there is a pumpkin patch, a petting zoo, a corn maze, an apple orchard, and a tractor hayride...it's very reasonably priced too...i think it's about 10 dollars for everything and your 2 year old will be free...check it out :)
