Just moving into the Hershey area and looking for recommendations for a pediatrician and pediatric dentist. Don't have a problem with a 20-30 min drive if they are good.

What can I do next?

Kearns & Ashby. They saw my son when he was facing a possible root canal. They were terrific with him.

Hi S. ~ We also go to Hershey Ped. Center, very pleased with all doctors and staff. As far as dentist the only way to go (my opinion) is with Dr. James Kearns! He has an office on Union Deposit Rd., Harrisburg and also on Trindle Rd., Mechanicsburg. Blessings ~ J.

Hi S.! I also agree that Kearns & Ashby is a must for the pediatric dentist! I use to be Dr. Ashby's assistant prior to becoming a SAHM. All of the doctors are amazing w/children and wonderful at their jobs. I personally am partial to Dr Ashby b/c I know exactly how he treats his patients, but you can't go wrong w/the other 3 doctors. As for a pediatrician I love Dr Garcia from Tan & Garcia. They are also located on Union Deposit Rd, they are actually only maybe 1/4 mile away from Kearns & Asbhy's Union Deposit Office.

Good Luck!

I take my kids to Hershey Pediatric Center. They have three doctors there, Bartlett, Fosnocht and Ciardullo. I just switched there about five months ago after my pediatrician left the area. They've been great with everything and seem to be very thorough (including extra testing of my then three month old when he had pneumonia). There is a bit of a waiting list but it only took me two weeks to get a call back and to be off the list. I've heard good things about Darrowish and Associates but when I called they said they were only accepting newborns straight from the hospital to their practice, not sure if they would give an exception with being new to the area. Another option might be the pediatric office at Hope Drive through the medical center. When I had my son in November they said they weren't accepting any new patients, unless I was an employee of the Hershey Med Center. Since you are, you might be able to get in there. Good luck!
