I use Dr. Judith Hsu from North Texas OBGYN. She's absolutely amazing. She will sit and answer any question you may have without making you feel rushed. Any and every question is important to her and it's not too big or too small. She always caters to the needs of her patients and the entire staff is so helpful and welcoming. Her home hospital is Medical Center of Plano on Coit & 15th Street in Plano...which is just about 15 minutes from Frisco. Here is her practice info: http://www.ntxobgyn.com/

The pediatrician we use is Dr. Chad Guetersloh of Centennial Pediatrics. he recently moved his practice to east Frisco right off of 121 & Independence. He's wonderful with my children and very helping and sympathetic to my needs. He's supportive with my parenting style and if he's unavailable for some reason (which is very rare) there's always a doctor in the practice to represent him. I have used him for 7 years and highly recommend him. Here's his info as well: http://www.centennialpediatrics.net/index.html

Hope this helps! Good Luck!

I am about to give birth to my second child at the end of this month. Dr. Lauren Michelson at Centennial Medical Offices is who I have used with both, after leaving Dr. Suzette Boyd for rude treatment. My husband and I absolutely love Dr.Michelson. I delivered my first son at Frisco Baylor and plan to deliver there again. She also has rights to Centennial Hospital.
Our pediatrician is Dr. Thai Hoang and we have been pleased with his office as well. I have heard GREAT things about Dr. Guetersloh also. Good luck!

I loved giving birth at Baylor Frisco. I would do it again but my office doesn't deliver there so I guess my next baby will be at Centennial which is also supposed to be very nice. Whatever you do avoid the McKinney Hospital! I use Adriatica Women's Health: http://adriatica-wh.com/ I now drive 30+ minutes to get there and I always recommend them. I used Dr. Michelson in Frisco for my 2nd and I was not fond of her... Way too induction/intervention happy. My pediatrician is Dr. Burton at All About Children Pediatrics in McKinney. I still drive a long ways for them as well!
Good luck!

Healthy Kid's Pediatrics is great! I don't think Dr. Bain is taking new patients but she hired Dr. Naidoo last November and he's taking new patients. He's awesome! I just switched to him from Dr. Guetersloh who is also in Frisco. I thought Dr. Guetersloh was great til child #2 came along and some issues that were a little outside the box. After that I quickly realized Dr. Guetersloh couldn't handle the situation. I've been going to Dr. Naidoo since last January and he's been amazing. The challenges we were facing with child #2 have pretty much gone away thanks to Dr. Naidoo.

As far as OB's go I would not recommend Dr. Lauren Michelsen (I saw another post that wasn't fond of her either). I drive to Dallas to Medical City and see Dr. Sigman and she's awesome. I have 3 kids and I delivered one at Medical Center of Plano, one at Centennial Pediatrics, and the last one at Medical City in Dallas. I liked the Plano hospital and Centennial hospital's best but if you are looking for a hospital with a good NICU it would be Medical City in Dallas.

I'm a huge fan of Baylor. I've heard lots of REALLY good things about Baylor Frisco. I live around the McKinney area, and I drive an hour to Baylor Dallas (BUMC). I see a doctor there, Dr Yolanda Lawson (www.madewellobgyn.com). I LOVE her. BUMC is a great hospital. They are a level 3, so they can handle anything. Baylor Frisco is closer to you. But BUMC is my preferred hospital:-)

Craig Ranch OB/Gyn. Dr. Sloan is one of the female dr's there. There are 2 of them. The other dr's name has slipped my mind but they were great when I had my son. They have priveldeges at the hospital in McKinney (the one on 75), Allen Presby, and now Baylor in Frisco. I highly recommend Raintree Pediatrics in Allen, just behind Allen Presby. Dr. Cook, Dr. Smith, & Dr. Shah are great. Amber is one of the PA's there and has seen my son since he was born. She is the best. Sabrina is the Nurse Pracitioner there. I gave birth at Allen Presby, loved the nurses but any of the hospitals in the Frisco, McKinney, Allen area are good!

BUMC Dallas is one of the best hospitals in the area...and I've heard they are pretty good to birthing moms etc, but I have never had any personal experience with them. However, I have heard bad things about Baylor Frisco. My brother-in-law is a paramedic and he's the one that told me that he has orders to not take patients there in an emergency situation, so I am not sure whether or not that is legit or if it is just an ER issue... I personally delivered at Texas Health Plano Presby (which also has a level 3 NICU) with Dr. Meggs and I loved that hospital and staff. I use Pediatric Specialists of Plano and have seen Dr. Berkowitz for about 10 years, since my daughter was born. He also uses Plano Presby, so he can see your child in the hospital if you delivered there. He is not super crazy about antibiotics unless they are absolutely needed and he is awesome with my kids. The only drawback, is the ladies that work in his front office get on my nerves, but I love him so much I deal with them. Good Luck!
