We had a ton of legal trouble with my husbands ex-wife. We looked all over trying to find someone who would provide legal funds with no luck! In fact we even tried the Father's Rights Group - Nothing. It ended up costing us 10,000 +. We even agreed to something in mediation and she reniged on that and we ended up going to court anyway! My advise since I now know family law top to bottom is this: Document everything, spanking is allowed (however if it is leaving brusies- take pictures that is your only proof), just because you say something doesn't mean everyone is going to believe you. The cheapest way to take care of it is if you pick the boys up and they have a bruse (caused by her not them falling or something like that) call CPS - everytime. They will take care of it and that is FREE. My other best advise is this: as tempting as it is NEVER talk bad about the father or his girlfriend in front of the childern it is more harm to the children then anything - be the bigger person. Email me if their is anything else I can help you with. ____@____.com

My dear T.,
I know where you at in your life. But,
you have to think about your children
first. This my seem a little hard to bit on as a younger person. But, remember this, your kid will always be in your life. But, husband, boyfriend,
or lover friend could leave you and the kids. Never sarifice your children for a man. I support someone is unable to trully take of themself, you need them and they need you always.

The courts will appoint a guardian ad-litem to represent the boys best interest. You will have the burden of proving to this person that your fears are founded but the courts give all the weight and power to these guardians in considering what is the best interest of the kids.
