Need Makeup Advice... Looking for a New Powder-foundation

Hey Helpful Mamas,
I rarely put on a full face of makeup but I always use my pressed powder if I go out anywhere, just to give my face a natural even look. I've been using Artistry flawless coverage powder for 6 years and I LOVE it! It costs me $15 but I have to pay around $7 to have it shipped. I'm wondering if there are any drugstore brands I can switch to that would be under $12 or so. I do have sun spots and freckles and I want to smooth those out and get a nice matte finish. I'm thinking of trying the Loreal color match stuff. I welcome any suggestions of your favorites. I'm not looking into another MLM cosmetic (Artistry, Avon, Mary Kay etc...) as I'd like to be able to pick it up at the store whenever I need it. TIA!!

What can I do next?

I also love Physician's Formula. About $12.99 or so. I apply it with a makeup sponge for even more coverage and my skin looks even and smooth.

I am a huge fan of bare minerals. It's not cheap, but does last a very long time!

I've been using Bare Minerals for years and I LOVE it. It's like $22 plus you have to buy the brush, which is around $12 I think but it goes a long way and looks so good! You can't get it at the drug store but they are in most malls and some department stores, like Macys.
I get everything else at the drug store but the powder foundation is definitely worth a trip to the mall.

I use physicians formula happy mood boosting powder or the bb powder. They are great for coverage and evening out skin tone. It costs about $11-$14. The liquid foundation is great too.

Bare Minerals is really good, lasts a long time, and isn't that expensive. You can get one for $22.

I LOVE Philosophy's mineral powder that you can find at Sephora stores. It's a little more expensive but it is great stuff.

These are the only two powders or foundations that dont make my skin red, irritated, or break out. SO worth the extra money.

I too use Bare Minerals. Many malls and large department stores carry it.

I find it works really well unless you have flaky skin. But it stays put and can't be any easier to use. You can also try one of the drug store brands of loose mineral powder (Walgreen's or CVS) but I haven't found one that works as well or is as user friendly.

The ladies in the store will help you grab the correct color.

Ok, so I've been searching for the right foundation my entire life. I have bought everything known to man from terribly expensive to super cheap. I was on sephora looking at reviews and tried Urban Decay beauty balm and bare minerals touch up veil and am IN LOVE!!! Good luck on your search, so happy I found something after all of the trial and error that looks great and lasts all day.

My daughter uses Almost Powder by Clinique. She gets it at Sephora or and department store counter.

We get it at the department stores when they are having the specials with trial products and if a special is not going on anywhere, we get it at Sephora.

It is great, looks nice and last a long time.. about $25.

J-there is a new girl in town who makes mineral makeup. It's called Simplicity. She has an etsy shop and lives in Argyle. https://www.facebook.com/SimplicityCosmetics?directed_tar...
I got some bronzer from her. It's not fabulous but it was inexpensive and available immediately.
I didn't have time to sample everything but will definitely do so when I am running low next time.

I love my Revlon pressed powder foundation in New Complexion. I have very light skin, and it is one of the only brands that has a color that actually blends into my face. I like it because it gives a good coverage, hides or blends in my brown spots from pregnancy, and feels very light when you have it on. You can get it at any drug store, walmart, etc. for under $10 sometimes maybe $12.

I use the mineral loose powder from the body shop. I love it! It feels very light and I barely know it's even there. I think it is around $20 or $25, but they last like 5 or 6 months.

I like nyx, it's sold at Ulta. Or cover girl clean pressed powders. And this is coming from beauty reviews and someone who would rather be using $20-30 powders but just can't spend that much anymore!

I use Bare Minerals or Clinique.

I have been wondering about the Loteak color match too...I also have freckles and like to tone them down a bit!
