Miscarriage with No Cramping or Bleeding?

So I'm 9 week pregnant. For the past 3 days I have felt totally fine. My sickness is gone and i feel pretty normal. I couldn't help but worry just cause it was kinda strange to have it stop all of a sudden. But I have no cramping and no bleeding. So i called my doc. he got me in but couldn't find a heart beat on the doppler. He said it's just still really early and that's why he couldn't find one. He told me to come back in a week and we will try again. He said my baby is probably fine. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had a sudden stop of symptoms and what was the turn out? Where you just done being sick or did you miscarry?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I've been taking unisom and B6 for my sickness. So last night I didn't take it just to see how I felt today. Well.....I've been super sick again! Yea!!! I think the unisom and b6 just works really well for me and is why I've been feeling so good. so I'm not really worried anymore. I mean I still can't wait to hear the heartbeat on the doppler but I'm pretty sure everything is okay. Thanks Ladies!!!!

No reason to get paranoid. Don't overanalyze everything. That said, at 10 weeks I did show amazing relief from pregnancy symptoms. Did not realize until week 11 when I got blood and cramps that I had lost the baby. Ultra sounds showed I had lost it around 8 weeks. Contrary to another poster on here, you may show no signs of blood or cramping until weeks after. In fact, another time, I was fully symptomatic with no relief of symptoms or bleeding (totally different miscarriage). But why am I going down this road? The fact is that 1/3 of all confirmed pregnancies are lost- pins and needles until we get the fetal poll is to be expected. Try to think positive until the Dr. gives you a reason to worry.

There isn't always cramping when you have a miscarriage. I felt no pain or cramping at all when I had mine over a year ago. I did bleed though.

Praying your little one is fine!

I am wondering, too. So do you always have signs if you miscarry? You would know for sure? I'm 3 weeks and so nervous.

But with my other 4, yes, the sickness did just stop. Nothing was wrong. It just meant the worst of morning sickness was over. For me that was maybe after month 2?

Just go back for your follow up appointment as the Doctor said.
Then he will do another vaginal sonogram, to check.

I had a miscarriage once. Just bleeding, no pain.
It was at about 6 weeks.

Don't worry, and just go to your follow up appointment next week.

Every pregnancy is different.

No bleeding I would take as a good sign. Even your period involves bleeding. It can be hard to see/hear the heartbeat very early on. I was told when I had a transvaginal ultrasound to check for DD (I had a subchorionic hemorrhage) that they may not be able to hear/see it at about 8 weeks. And that was from the inside. I would try not to worry.

Lucky you, no more nausea! I did not miscarry but had what is called by the weird term "a missed abortion". The baby died within me but did not come out. I had no cramps, no bleeding, no symptoms at all. At the 12 week appointment there just wasn't a heartbeat. They did an ultrasound and found that the heart had stopped. The doctor explained that something probably did not develop correctly and that it is very common to have either a miscarriage or lose a baby in the way I did, and to go on to have healthy children. They had to do a dilation & evacuation immediately since they could tell from the length (as measured via ultrasound) that the baby died at approx 10 weeks. I carried 2 healthy girls to term after that and they are now 12 and 15 and doing great. However, with both the other 2 pregnancies I spotted heavily at about 7 or 8 weeks and THOUGHT I was having a miscarriage but it did not. So you just never know, and as hard as it is, you just have to let it go and relax and trust that all will be well. Good luck.

I never had any pregnancy symptoms.
We did IVF to have our son and I was convinced it didn't work when the blood test came back positive.
I was happy but still didn't feel pregnant.
When I finally heard the heart beat I could finally believe it.
Not everyone gets nauseous or stays nauseous.
Try to relax and see how the appointment goes next week.

I've never had this happen, but my sickness did pretty much just...go away pretty quickly.

Did he do a Vaginal Ultra sound? My doc did those til 3rd-4th month cause the baby is too small for the regular. My SIL went in and was told she HAD miscarried, and when she went back they found the baby healthy and doing well (and hiding up high in the uterus)

Try not to worry/stress about it ( I know easier said than done) til you can go back and find out for sure.

I hope you get happy news in a week!

You could just be *over* your morning sickness! Yay!

I had 3 "missed" miscarriages. No cramping, but some brownish blood.

Think positively though.
Sending prayers!

Honestly, it could totally be either one. Many people just suddenly stop feeling sick and go back to normal, especially as they approach or enter the second trimester. In theory, you should feel at your best during that time.

Others, unfortunately, do miscarry without any signs or symptoms. The baby may just stop growing in the womb without actually leaving the body, in which case there wouldn't be any bleeding.

I hope that you find a strong heartbeat next time you go in!

When you miscarry, there IS cramping. The cramps are very unpleasant. I also had some hot flashes with my miscarriage. Hope everything turns out well for you. Give it a week or two and go back to your doc.

Also, have they tested your HCG levels? They can tell a lot from that too about the pregnancy.

Early in my pregnancies I had days when i didn't feel pregnant and days when i did. I don't recall all of a sudden not feeling pregnant with my miscarriage. The only sign of that was light bleeding and cramping that both gradually got worse.
I'd also ask for a vaginal ultrasound, I wouldn't be able to wait a week.
Good luck and hope everything's just fine!

Have your doc do an ultrasound if he cannot find a heartbeat on the doppler. They will be able to see the heartbeat by now.

He didn't offer an ultrasound? I loved that my OB practice has ultrasound equipment and techs right in the office. My 3rd baby's heartbeat was always hard to pick up on the doppler , so she would send me over to ultrasound for peace of mind.
