I had the same problem on my sons 1st birthday. I had his party at the Brunswick Zone bowling alley $13.99 per kid, you get pizza, drinks and the bowling. They were great and the kids loved the glow in the dark bowling balls.

There is a indoor water park in Schaumburg that looks like fun ###-###-#### or www.parkfun.com/dir/fit/ww/strwks.html.

Try http://pretendplayground.com/ located at 325 Townline Road Mundelein, IL 60060.
847-949-PLAY. They have various activity stations for babies to kids. I have a one year old and a four year old. This place is great! Weekends are reserved for private parties. It will easily accomodate 20+ people.

Hi Natalia,
We have had a lot of success at birthday parties having Lou Malnotti's cater. We love both the pan and thin crust pizzas and the salads. I don't particularly care for their pastas. They've been prompt and accommodating. I think it's fairly reasonable also. I also live in a small place and for the last two years I've "borrowed" my parents place for the parties. Does your apt. complex have a clubhouse type room that you could rent inexpensively? Maybe you can rent some space at your local park district? Good luck!

I was going to have my daughters 2nd birthday party at the bruinswick zone bowling alley in carol stream, it's an area for parties, they give you party packages where they provide the cake and decorations and tokens for the kids and there is bumper cars and bowling and laser tag for the adults. What i've found with kid parties is there are more adults than kids and I wanted them to have as much fun as the kids so that's an option. The smallest package they had was you pay for 8 children at 12 dollars a piece I believe.

Don't know how far you are willing to go for this, but the Children's Museum at Navy Pier is great for kids birthday's. Good luck!

Chuck E. Cheese! It will entertain all the kids and it is reasonably priced. The pizza isn't bad and they have other things on the menu for the adults. There is one in Skokie and I am sure there is one closer to you.

Have fun!
