Hawaiian Birthday Party Ideas

My 4 yr old boy wants what he calls a Hawaiian birthday party. He wants grass skirts and flower leighs, limbo, and coconut cups full of red juice. Ok, I can do that. Part City here I come. But where to have it? My house is not an option. I dont want to do the before and after clean up. Call me lazy. It's cold, so outside is not an option. Normally we just load up 4 kids and meet at McDonalds or Chuckee Cheese. Bring our own cake and baloons and it's a party for cheap. That's a little more complicated if we're going to be in grass skirts. Any thoughts on how I can give my boy a Hawaiian Party for cheap?

What can I do next?

I was thinking SammyJo's advice too :-) check into a clubhouse or community center....even a small hotel conference room? Also depends on what kind of games/activities you are going to have for the kids. We have a community park that has indoor rooms available.

Try renting a community center room, park, or even check with your church about possibly using a room. Also, get him a Tikiyata (Creative Kidstuff has them). Then check out Oriental Trading (way cheaper than Party City) for party favors and games with a Hawaiian theme.
