So what did you think about the show last night?

I love how Meridith and Christina will call each other thier person. I did not see the end but I want to ask about the decison that Christina faced, What would you have done?

I already know I would have had the baby for my husband and problaby resented him and never let him forget it! but I have never really had that much passion for anything other than having a family. What passions did you put aside for the love of your family?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Perfect Cheryl.. I have not seen the end yet as well.
I did enjoy how they gave the viewers a insight to the life of the couple who had the accident instead of them just showing up at the hospital.

I think I need to skip this question!! I've not watched it yet!!!

I will ASSUME that Christina is pregnant and Owen is ecstatic and she is not...I guess I'll have to PM you information after I watch it!! Does that work for you?

Have the baby and put it up for adoption--that way she wouldn't be murdering an innocent baby because of her selfishness...and then she should go get a full hysterectomy if she is absolutely dead set on not having a child.

I am wondering how this will play out. Meredith can't get pregnant and her adoption is falling through at the exact same time that her BFF is pregnant a second time on accident and she ends up getting an abortion? Christina is this hot doctor but she can't figure out firth control???Really???

I was sort of disappointed, because in the real world this scenario would be a real deal-breaker for the friendship. I mean DUH! Christina should have the baby and give it to Meredith if she is so determined not to have a baby. Or at least the two of them should have had a conversation about how hard it must be for Meredith to watch Christina choose abortion. Any of you ladies who went through infertility will understand the ugliness of the jealousy that can arise when you witness your friends getting pregnant everytime they sneeze.

I loved Grey's episode. It so much reminds me of my own relationship with my own best friend. We call each other are person too. I loved Meredith's explanation to Owen. I think it put alot in perspective for him. For me, I couldn't imagine being in that situation. My passion is helping people, so I didn't have to put any of that aside. I did have to keep it from not consuming my family life. Their is always a balance. However, in Christina's place, she knew her passion would consumer her love for her child, and cause resentment and heartache for all involved. A sacrifice, for sure. Albeit a very personal, and painful one. It will be interesting to see how this plays out over this season. It's off to a very interesting start. I always love this show. Their are so many complex characters with so many layers to them.

I love the my person thing too! I tell my BFF she is my person started doing that last year.
The me now would have did the same thing Christina did the me then would have sent through with it.
My career is on hold for now because of my family. I have a masters but want so badly to go back to school for my nursing degree but the lack of money and time with two kids won't allow it. I also want more than anything in this world to move Florida I love it there I feel at peace however hubby will not hear of it and so I pine away for my Florida life everyday.

I do not understand how our society has gotten to a point where the decision to have a baby comes AFTER the sex.

I watched. It was ok. They crossed the line with having a man amputate his own wifes leg. No reason for that other than sensationalism and ratings. It didn't further the story line in any way. If it were me, I would have the baby, because everything changes when they put that baby in your arms. But, for Christina, I think that was the best decision. Especially after hearing Meredith describe being the unwanted child the mother resented.

I haven't watched it yet, but I used to have a BFF who was my "person". (We actually used to call each other that.) Yeah, we used to be just like Christina and Meredith, so I really enjoy watching them. We had a big falling out, so I don't know if we can ever get back together.

(I'll respond after I watch it this weekend. I have very close and personal relationships with these characters, so I'll be sure to check in with them.)
