I am about ready to return back to work after being home for 6 weeks with a new baby girl. With my other children I was an full time stay at home mom so this is very new and panfill for me. (I cry everytime I think about going back to work)
Is there any way to make this easier?

What can I do next?

I went through the same thing when i had my little girl. I cried everytime i'd think about it. The only thing i can suggest is start "practicing". Let her say with some one a few hours here and there to get her and you used to being separated. I only went back part time and over the last year gradually increased my hours. The night before you go back will be awful and the morning you leave her will be torture, but when you get home and see her there it will be almost as great as when you saw that little face when you gave birth. but every day after that will get a little easier adn then it will be no trouble at all.

I had the same exact problem and did end up going back to work. I cried all the day to work everyday! I hated it. I grieved myself to death. I started my own home based business and now I can work with my son by my side!!

I have been a stay at home mom since January 2007 and I too have to go back to work. My husband's job takes him away from us for weeks at a time and it is then that we have the hardest time. When I was working I found that finding a good babysitter that I would be able to communicate with and that had kids of her own would be great. I found one and I have kept her at all costs. Interview them and when you do have them bring their kids and if their kids get along with yours then it will be easier on the kids. For you I think it will only take time. I hope this helps.
