I am 5 months pregnant and me and my husband have decided not to find out what we are having until delivery. So i need boy and girl names picked out. I already have our boy name picked out and cant really think of a really cute girl name. The girl middle name will be Claire after my husbands mother but need a first name to go with Claire. My daughters name is Ava Marie.

What can I do next?

I think Ava and Ivy sound really cute together.
I just met a girl named Ivy and she's really cute, so Ivy is my new favorite girl name right now :)

I would go for Claire for the 1st name. I think it's pretty. A friend of mine had a girl about a year ago and named her Claire Elizabeth.

Claire is such a beautiful name. I'm glad you've picked it. It could be a first or middle name. You can't go wrong either way, in my opinion.
My own daughter is due on May 7 and she is having the hardest time. Anything she even suggests, people put it down or have a reason not to like it. Or they know someone whose cousin is named that.
I try really hard not to suggest too much because she's just been inundated.
She doesn't want anything trendy but she doesn't want anything too ordinary either. She has a mom with a non-conventional name so she would like something on the different side. Her baby is definitely a boy. 99% sure.
I think boy names are harder because girls can have boy names. It doesn't work well the other way.
I've suggested this name before and I don't think anyone has used or liked it, but I still love the name Melody.
You don't hear it often. I don't think it's because it's aweful, some just don't see the lovely simplicity of it.
Ava Marie and Claire Melody.
Sounds pretty great to me.

I'm sure you'll get tons of suggestions and I know you'll pick the perfect name for your baby.
Be sure to let us know when the baby arrives and what you decided upon.

Best wishes.

I have a Kristen Claire, so I am well partial to that combination = )
I will say that for ever so long we wished we had given her Claire as a first name rather than a middle name! It is a beautiful name, we chose it to honor my Aunt, it was fitting that it was used as a middle name because her name is Pamela Claire.
