Hey Moms out there, does anyone have any suggestions about how to get Desitin Creamy diaper rash cream out of carpetting. My almost two year old son painted it on the floor in his room and I am not sure how to get it out. Thanks for any advice! C.
I know how you feel. I haev an 11year old and a 1 year old and my oldest did this when he was a little guy. What i did was took an old dish cloth, got it wet with warm water and then used a little dawn dish soap. it took about 3 times but it did come out and the dish soap wont harm your carpet. hope this helps.
Call your neighborhood cleaners and see what they would do to remove it. I would say steam but I don't want to steer you wrong.
I use ChemDry SpotShot carpet cleaner. My did the same thing a couple of times. Did you remember to take pictures??? Just follow the directions on the bottle and it will be out with no problem.
Dish soap. I used my bissell green machine to scrub and suck it up. It took a while and my daughter saw me do it-she then doused the family room carpet with dish soap (so don't leave it out).

I am not sue if this will work but it has always worked for us..If you have any of the Melaluca products..my favorite is the tub and tile cleaner(which I use on everything). Maybe you know someone who has this or has access to it or sells it. It even took lipstick out of an off white carpet. My grandson got into mom's purse and "colored" a 12" x12" spot on the living room carpet..
try a window cleaner believe it or not it will get stains out of your carpet .
