I just moved to the Burnsville area and I was wondering if people could suggest some good dentists in my area. I will need both a pediatric dentist (for my son) and a regular dentist. Thanks in advance.

What can I do next?

I take my little girl to Metropolitian Pediatric Dental in Eagan. It was the only Pediatric Dentist place I found around Burnsville at the time. I did see a new office for pediatric dental going up over by the Super Target off of Hwy.13 in Savage. I am satisfied with her dentist. Dr. Lipshultz. They have a main room with about 5 child friendly chairs and they have all the chairs filled up at once each child with a friendly hygentist and the dentist just makes his rounds and goes from one kid to the next. The parents sit on a bench behind a glass wall and watch. If your child is really young or scared you can go back with them. My daughter's had alot of dental problems and they've done a great job. I've seen school age kids go in and come out smiling after getting a tooth pulled. They are always on time and it's really fast and quick were never in there long. When your done the Dentist always come out and talks to the parents and let's them know what went on or if the parents have questions. There are several pediatric dentists out of this one office. It's located in Eagan off of Pilot Knob Rd.kinda behind walmart. The phone number is ###-###-####

As far as a regular dentist I go to Park Nicollet Clinic's Dental office. It think it's like Park Dental or something. I have no complaints and I have nothing spectacular to say about it.

Hey there --

I'm in Burnsville too! I've been going to Schulz Family Dental on Burnsville Parkway for years...probably 8 years now! They're fantastic, very gentle and informative. I plan on taking my 2.5 year old in there with me for her first exam when I go in for my next cleaning. Their website is: http://www.schulzfamilydental.com/

Actually, I just made an appointment today with Pediatric Dentistry for Children and Adolsecents for my 3 year old. My friend uses them and said they are great for kids! They are on Nicollet next to the Quello Clinic Building. My pediatrician used to be right next to them too (Southdale PEds...they are great!)

And I"m glad to see that someone recommended Smile Designs too...I made an appointment for myself there!

Thanks, good luck!

Dr. Neda Falak at Smile Design in Eagan is great. I work for her and she does nice work and is a wonderful person. We see a lot of kids in our practice. I would start out your son in a family practice and see how he does. We don't start seeing kids until they are 3, no need to see a child sooner. If a child needs work we usually know if a pedodontist would be best for that particular child.
