I'm trying to find a really nice delicious & inexpensive bakery to make a cake for my baby shower. I'm expecting about 70 people, adults and kids. I want something classy but I don't want to spend a lot of money. Any ideas for the Mansfield/Grand Prairie/Arlington area?

What can I do next?

Cup cakes are the newest thing for showers lately...or atleast the ones I've been to. In fact, we are throwing a baby shower for my sister-n-law this weekend and we are having Sam's make chocolate cupcakes with pastel pink icing and chocolate polka dots on top. It costs about $11.99 for a box of cupcakes. Plus, Sam's makes really good cupcakes!!
Good luck!

Costco's cakes are delicious - they have yummy choices of fillings, which makes them not your ordinary bakery cake. They are inespensive, about $14 I think, and they are really pretty, too!

I own a cottage bakery where I make cookies, cakes, and candies. I would be more than happy to discuss what you are looking for and see if it would be in your budget. I use real butter, real vanilla (I make my own), and my own organic eggs. I still bake just the way my Granny taught me over 35 years ago. Here are some links where you can view my work:
